I’d like to get this ladder for my sons apartment but surely most wall depths including the window sills are much more than 11 inches ?? 1 Answer

This item is only suitable for a cill with a maximum width of 11 inches.

If the distance between the window base and the roof lower edge (on a house where the first floor room is in the roof 'A' frame) is less than 4.5m, do the steps bend so that they will run down part of the wall? It would be good to see an image of it in place / in use. Are any available from Kidde? They certainly should be!

We have added a link in the description to the manufacturers data sheet that gives additional images and information. This is a type of rope ladder and will hand vertically whenever possible.
