A recent item on the news stated that cooking oils degrade with heating and can become a danger to health.The suggestion was to use lard which apparently does not degrade.How would the element cope on start up surrounded not by a liquid but solid fat?

We believe this is normally supplied with a 13 A plug. However this can be replaced or fitted if required.
