This product is suitable for all ceramic/glass cooker tops.
The hob plates appear to be some sort of metal with a slightly ridged surface and washing does not get the stains, spilled liquid, off.

This a a non abrasive cleaner especially for glass surfaces on ceramic hobs. Cleaning a solid plate hob may require a more abrasive scouring cleaner to be effective.

This product can be used on burners etc but should be rinsed thoroughly after cleaning.
