It is more likely to be the oven selector switch as this usually supplies the power to the thermostat and indicator light when the contacts are made, check this before suspecting the thermostat.
I have changed the main oven heating element which has helped restore correct cooking temperature but it takes over 40min to achieve correct temperature will changing this thermostat help solve my issue
