I was given a new Lakeland blender when my kewood blender went caput - after 40yrs! ! Unfortunately I dropped the (new) glass jug and broke it ! Lakeland do not do spare parts i.e. New jug! I'm left with the base but no jug! Ps: don't buy Lakeland!

I have ordered this item to replace my existing liquidiser which has a broken handle. How do I remove broken part from base assembly unit so I can then attach it to the new goblet?
- PUT JUG IN HOT SOAPY WATER LEAVE FOR A MINUTE THEN TWIST GENTLY.....HAS JUST WORKED FOR ME
