I have just purchased the kmix mincer attachment and used it yesterday for the first time to mince some cooked beef. It was a total failure and the mincer clogged up very quickly and I had to constantly stop the machine as the motor began to smell as if it was struggling. I cut the meat into small pieces and fed it through gradually. I'm very disappointed with the performance - is this typical ?

It is probably better to contact Kenwood direct for operational queries on Tel: 0239 239 2333 Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 4.50pm. However if you believe it is faulty we will of course honour the 12 month guarantee on this product.
- Hi Mary, Your minced lamb may have come out too 'gooey' because you used the disc with the smallest holes. Try it next time with the larger size holes disc. That way, the result should be a more coarse texture of mince. Good luck!
