The posts look intact and also look like a real pain to replace. If I could just clip the new wheels on, life would be much simpler. If it is not possible to get the wheels separately, could you tell me if the wheels would come off the replacement parts and go onto the existing posts without damage? Thanks

  • Re the basket guide wheels the posts seem to have some ware so I think it would be better to replace the unit rather than just the wheels how do you fit them? You have supplied the parts to me . By Eric - Rugby Warwickshire - 28 October 2015

The wheels simply push over a raised ridge on the axle that stops them from coming off. If you order this assembly and soak in hot water to soften the wheels should prise off using a flat blade without damage if you are careful.

The wheels are pressed on, use a vice or large grips to squeeze on. Do not try and transfer a wheel from the new part to the old bracket while fitted to the dishwasher.
