Hello I am facing the serious issue of having black oil leaking to my dough. I am assuming that it comes from the rotation of the axon.. Is my assumption correct and will this sort my issue? Thanks for your assistance !!! All the best Emmanouil V.

We are not experts on this product but would not have thought any oil from the shaft could reach the dough without passing from the paddle shaft. The information we have available is very limited and we may be wrong so please check that you are satisfied to the cause before ordering any parts.

  • So you mean that it is more likely to have the issue sorted by replacing the bread pan but we won't be able to tell for sure, if we don't replace the mounting shaft unit. But how come that the bread pan is responsible? oil should be leaking from the bread pan's whole where the shaft unit is screwed and attached to. So it probably comes in from a gap that got generated throughout the years after many bakings.. By emvogia - Greece, Volos - 13 November 2014

I would be more likely to suspect the bread pan itself first but you may not be able to prove prior to replacement.

Answer this question

How do I get the mounting shaft out of the breadmaker. I am presuming that it should release it from the inside of the machine but all screws are firmly embedded in. I am desperate to get it repaired as I cannot exist without my 7 year old Panasonic breadmaker !!!
