    Seal came on time

Not as easy as video , had to take the front and top of the machine off ,then the concrete weight as could not seat the back spring band properly without help, total time about two hours to complete the job.

    Good Job in the end

As always parts arrived on time and well packed. Video gave the impression that it wasn't too difficult to carry out the this renewal on a John Lewis Machine, apart from a comment at the end that it was a bit fiddley. Had they taken a little more time showing installing the new seal in the machine and the technique for clicking it over the metal edge in the machine and also on the front panel the job would have been completed in minutes rather than hours.

    Door Seal

Rubber seal had some residual moulding in the water holes easily removed with sharp knife. It is possible to fit without taking machine apart if you are patient as need to stretch the back ring in to position, Seal goes on fine with a little washing up liquid to ease fitting of back of seal.

This should be the correct seal for your model, try soaking in warm water to soften before starting to fit as this may help it stretch easier.

Answer this question

I've watched your video and unfortunately it misses the most difficult element. Which part of the rubber door seal fits over or around which part of the cylinder itself. A sectional drawing/sketch would be invaluable.
