Hi Vaclav, this turbine head has a brush roll inside the head, which increases suction.
the brushbar rotates when it in in the air but slows right down when in contact woith the carpet. i have new filters and there is no blockage in the pipes etc. I dont want to spend £59 plus on a new turbobrush to find i still have the problem
- It definitely slows on contact with carpet but that's to be expected given the brush. The job however that it does on carpet is excellent especially dog hairs from our Golden Retriever.
- I have just purchased a TURBOBRUSH replacement and i am really impressed it is much better than the original
- Yes, it seems to be as well suited to both. Great for dog hairs on carpets.

Actually there is no difference. Dyson call these products "Turbine Heads", whereas some other vacuum cleaner manufacturers call similar products to this "turbo heads".
