Can Not Fill My Steam Cleaner

Steam cleaners are exceptional for taking care of removing grime, dirt, food stains and spills without the hassle of using a regular mop. Giving your home a fresh sanitised clean without the use of harsh chemicals.

However, like all home appliances, the steam cleaner can develop faults too which tend to occur from wear and tear. Don’t worry, by following our simple diagnosis we may give your steam cleaner the salvation it needs.

Safety Cap

The safety cap on your steam cleaner contains a valve, which prevents it from being opened when under pressure and from any accidental scalding.

A common problem with steam cleaners is the safety cap failing which then prevents it from being removed. It is crucial for your own safety that this lock is always in a perfect working condition, as boiling water can escape the lid and cause serious injury. So if yours is defective or impaired, this is how you can remove and replace it.

Safety First! Please make sure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before beginning any repair.
