Many modern refrigerators now allow your to pour a glass of water, these fridges are usually connected directed to the water supply. To get better tasting water from the mains the fridges allow for input of water filters to ensure that your glass of water is cold, crisp and fresh.
Unfortunately over time the filters will require replacing, some people may not replace the filter as the task of fitting a new one may seem complicated however it’s quite the opposite. The simple steps below details how to easily replace a water filter in your Maytag fridge freezer.
It is recommended to replace this filter every 6 months - if you are uncertain as to when you need to replace the filter...6 months is a generally good guide to work with.

Step 1 - Removing The Filter
Replacing a worn out water filter is not as daunting as you may think. To begin remove the filter from the locked to the unlocked position.
This can be done by twisting and unscrewing it. Once done this will allow you to then remove it from the fridge.
eSpares Top Tip: Putting a towel or some paper towels down will catch to catch any excess water and help stop your floor from being covered in water.
Step 2 - Fitting The New Filter
Grab your new filter, remove the cap and then fit the filter - place it in the unlocked position and simply twist it to lock it in place.
All done! Now you can enjoy a tasty glass of cold, fresh water! Now it is advised that the water filter should be replaced every 6 months. This will ensure that your fridge freezer can continue to provide you with fresh filtered water.
