Safety First!

Before you begin this repair, make sure your cooker is switched off and fully disconnected from the mains.

Step 4: Remove the side panel

To replace these, it's best to start with the one on the right-hand side. First, you will need to remove the side panel. To do this, you'll need to undo the two screws that are holding the vent grille in place at the rear of the cooker. The images below show the location of these two screws. Remove these using a screwdriver.

To do this, gently bring it further across the cooker to make sure it is located on the pegs. Then, fit it into place and refit the screws.

Step 11: Replace the left-hand drawer roller

Now that the right-hand drawer roller is in place, you can replace the left-hand drawer roller. This is quite hard to access due to the frame behind the cooker. So to do this, we've developed this handy technique.

Grab a piece of nylon strimmer cord and find the centre. Then, fold it back on itself and pinch in the fold.

Then, feed it through the hole of the drawer roller.

Bring the loop back round to the front. Then, you can add the washer first and then the nut.

When these are both in place, draw the cord back through, reach your finger round, hold the nut and washer in place and screw in the plastic part of the drawer roller.

Once the drawer roller is as tight as it can be by hand, keep your hand at the back holding the nut in place and tighten it with your Allen Key.

Step 12: Refit the bottom grill

Now that the drawer rollers are in place, you can start putting your cooker back together. Start by refitting the bottom grill by replacing the three screws that hold it in place.
