Bosch Washing Machine Error Code F03 or F18

In every household, the washing machine is most likely to be their pride and joy, as we all know the washer is in constant use for everyday washing. However, the washer can be put under a lot of pressure causing the performance to deteriorate.

If your washing machine has flagged up either an F03 or F18 error code, the most likely cause for this would be a problem with the drain pump as it may have become faulty. Fear not, with our help you will be able to diagnose the root of the cause and fix your washer in time for the next load.

Drain Pump

A common draining issue could be caused by a faulty drain pump, which is used to drive and drain the water out of the washer.

If you cannot hear the pump trying to empty the water when you select a drain or spin cycle, then suspect the drain pump is the issue.

Safety First! Please make sure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before beginning any repair.

  • It's always a good idea to make sure your drain pump is faulty before going ahead and replacing it.
