Bosch Dishwasher E28 Error Code

If your dishwasher is not working correctly it’s safe to say it's developed a fault that needs to be resolved. If you are seeing an error code E28 being displayed on the LCD display screen, it is an indication to you of what the fault is likely to be related to.

Here’s where we come in to help you make sense of what the error code means.

Following our article below - we can get you out of this dilemma and see that you won’t be washing your dishes by hand for long!

Cause 1

Turbidity Sensor

If your Bosch dishwasher display is showing an E28 error code it is likely to be a problem with the turbidity sensor - which is located at the bottom of the machine.

This device identifies how much light passes through the water in the dishwasher. If the water is dirty the dishes may not clean correctly and the dishwasher may repeat the rinse cycle over and over again..

Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.

  • You’ll first need to remove the base of the dishwasher and find the turbidity sensor - located either in the sump or hoses in the base of the machine.
  • Inspect the sensor for a buildup of debris and blockages and replace if required.

If the sensor is beyond repair, don’t fret because we can still help! Browse our extensive range of dishwasher spares to find the correct replacement part for your model and get your dishes cleaned effortlessly again in no time.
