Step 1 - Safety Advice

Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.

Step 2 - Removing the Bobbin and old line

Turn the appliance over so you can access the lower section of the trimmer, you will want to be face to face with where the bobbin and old line was. Carefully remove the bobbin and old line.

Step 3 - Feeding the Line

Securing one end of the new line to the tie clip in the bobbin - wind the rest uniformly in a clockwise direction around the bobbin.

Step 4 - Pushing the Bobbin Back

Ensure you feed about 10cm of the line through the small hole in the rotating head. Once you have done this you can now push the bobbin back into its surround.

All done, a simple but important to do task - without the line the trimmer won’t be able to perform.
